Sunray® - Installion of Safety & Security Film - 3M Elyria Building

Not only did 3M make the first patent for window film but... Sunray® installs Safety & Security or Fragment Retention Film at the 3M Elyria Building, in Elyria Ohio. What a coincidence... that the manufacturer of our window films was contracting Sunray® to install safety film! This facility which manufacturer's the Scotch-Brite Pads was looking to provide safety and security to their employees working inside their building.

 

Officials at the building wanted to protect their employees from what Mother Nature can give you from time to time. Wind damage or tornado activity can wreak havoc on a structure without the proper protection. Window's can be your weakest link with flying glass fragments during a wind storm or a tornado. Glass fragments when broken and flying around can act as shrapnel and harm anything in its way.

3M S400 safety and security film was used along with the Impact Protection Adhesive to anchor the film from the frame of the window to the glass.
